Competition terms and privacy.

These terms apply to the IONIC prize draw run by Growth Technology at the UK Hydro Expo. Please read them before entering. Entering the draw means you accept them.

Competition terms

1. The promoter

The promoter is Growth Technology Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 02766792, registered office Great Western Way, Norton Fitzwarren, Taunton, Somerset, TA2 6BX.

2. Who can enter

• Entry is open to businesses in the United Kingdom that buy or sell horticultural products in the course of trade. This is a trade promotion and is not open to consumers.
• Entrants must be 18 or over and must be authorised to enter on behalf of the business named on the entry.
• One entry per business. Additional entries from the same business will not be counted.
• Employees of the promoter, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the draw may not enter.

3. How to enter

Complete the entry form at ionic-comp.pages.dev with your business name, your name and your email address, agree to receive marketing communications, and accept these terms. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.

Agreeing to receive marketing communications from Growth Technology is a condition of entry. If you do not wish to receive marketing, you cannot enter the draw. You can unsubscribe at any time after entering, and unsubscribing does not affect an entry already made.

4. Entry period

The draw opens at 00:01 on Friday 7 August 2026 and closes at 23:59 on Monday 10 August 2026. Entries received after the closing time will not be counted. The promoter is not responsible for entries that are not received for any reason.

5. The prize

One winner will receive one full set of the new IONIC range, consisting of one unit of each of the twelve products: Hydro Grow, Hydro Bloom, Hard Water Grow, Hard Water Bloom, Coco Grow, Coco Bloom, Soil Grow, Soil Bloom, PK, Tonic, Root Boost and Flower Boost, in [ BOTTLE SIZE, e.g. 1L ].

• Approximate retail value: [ VALUE ].
• There is one prize and one winner.
• The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative.
• The prize will be delivered to the winning business's UK address at the promoter's cost, within 28 days of the winner confirming their details.
• The promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the prize becomes unavailable.

6. How the winner is chosen

The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries on [ DRAW DATE ]. The draw will be conducted by a Growth Technology representative, using a randomising tool that produces a verifiably random result. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Telling the winner

The winner will be contacted by email at the address given on their entry within 7 days of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, the promoter may redraw and award the prize to another entrant.

The promoter will publish the surname and county of the winner, or make this information available on request, as required by the CAP Code. If you would prefer your details not to be published, tell us when you are notified and we will limit what we publish to the extent the Code allows.

8. General

• The promoter may amend these terms or cancel the draw if something outside its reasonable control makes running it unworkable. Any change will be published on this page.
• The promoter may disqualify an entry that it reasonably believes is fraudulent, duplicated or does not meet these terms.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by any social media platform.
• These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy notice

Who we are

The data controller is Growth Technology Ltd, Great Western Way, Norton Fitzwarren, Taunton, Somerset, TA2 6BX. For anything about your data, contact marketing@growthtechnology.com.

What we collect

When you enter, we collect your business name, your name, your email address, and a record of the boxes you ticked, including whether you asked for the banner pack.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To run the draw, pick and contact the winner and deliver the prize. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, namely operating a promotion you chose to enter.
• To send you marketing about IONIC and other Growth Technology products and offers. Our lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the entry form.
• To send you the banner pack, if you asked for it. Our lawful basis is your consent.

Marketing and how to stop it

You can withdraw consent at any time. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email marketing@growthtechnology.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we sent before you withdrew it, and it does not remove you from the draw.

Who else handles your data

• Intuit Mailchimp, which stores our mailing list and sends our emails. Mailchimp is based in the United States, so your data is transferred outside the UK. That transfer is covered by the safeguards in Mailchimp's data processing terms.
• Cloudflare, which hosts the entry page and passes your entry to Mailchimp.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Entry records are kept for as long as we need them to administer the promotion and resolve any query arising from it. If you consented to marketing, we keep your contact details on our mailing list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to ask for your data in a portable format. Email marketing@growthtechnology.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
